What Is the Same-Day Denture Reline and Repair Process?
In this video, Remi Berube, DD, explains how same-day denture services work and why fast, in-house care can make a big difference when you need adjustments or repairs.
A major advantage of our denture services is that most of what we do is same-day. When you come in, you can expect to get your appliance back the same day. This is something many other offices can’t offer.
For relines, we first evaluate your gums to see how much shrinkage has occurred and how loose the denture has become. We can take impressions chairside or with traditional methods, reline the denture in our lab, and have it ready for you to pick up in about 2–3 hours.
For denture repairs, you can walk in, drop the denture off, or wait in the office. Most simple repairs, such as replacing a tooth or fixing a minor fracture, are completed in about an hour. If it’s a more complex repair, we’ll provide an estimated timeframe after an evaluation. Even then, almost all repairs are finished the same day.
Our goal is to keep treatment efficient and convenient so you’re not without your denture longer than necessary.
If you or someone you love is struggling with missing teeth or loose dentures, contact Big Sky Dentures & Implants in Missoula, MT, for a mini implant consultation to learn how our life-changing treatments can enhance your smile, improve your function, and restore your self-confidence.
When people hear “same-day dentures,” they usually think about leaving the office with a smile. Fair enough. Most people do not want to spend weeks or months without teeth. But appearance is only part of the reason someone may choose same-day dentures in Browning. If you have ever had a tooth pulled, you probably remember the rules that followed: [...]
Some of us have an intense fear of something that is relatively easy to avoid. Snakes, heights, or clowns. Other fears can have a greater impact on our lives, like a fear of flying or public spaces. But when severe fear causes you to put off necessary care, the effects can add up over time. Dentophobia, or an extreme [...]
Finding a reliable dental office that is also accommodating and realistic about cost can be difficult. Partnership Dental and other broad-care options in Missoula cover many of those needs. But you should also ask: Does the practice’s scope match the problem you need to solve? A loose denture is different from a cleaning. Several failing teeth require different decisions [...]
When your dentures stop feeling the way they used to, the solution often comes down to one of the big three R’s: reline, repair, or replace. But which one does your denture need? Some patients come to us reporting that their dentures move when they chew or point to a fractured tooth. Other times, we assess dentures and see [...]
Some people see dentures as the end of a long oral health journey. Without natural teeth, it may seem like plaque, gum irritation, and daily oral hygiene no longer require the same attention. But your mouth still needs regular care. Your gums, tongue, and other oral tissues still need protection, and your dentures need consistent cleaning to stay comfortable [...]
Tooth extraction and dentures often become the next step when ongoing dental problems begin to outweigh the benefits of trying to preserve failing teeth. When multiple teeth need to be removed, planning for what comes next becomes just as important. Many people worry about spending weeks or months without teeth while their mouth heals. At Big Sky Dentures & [...]
