Dentures can be challenging, especially when they rely only on your gums for support. With traditional tissue-supported dentures, patients often take much longer to feel comfortable, dealing with months of adjustments and sore spots.
Implant-supported dentures are different. Once you get past the normal soreness from placing the implants, these dentures are much more stable. They don’t move around as much, and they usually require far fewer post-op adjustments. Most patients are functioning comfortably within about a week.
