What To Expect At Your First Appointment at Big Sky Dentures & Implants

In this video, Dr. Jack Booth explains what new patients can expect during their first visit and how care is planned through open conversation, clear imaging, and straightforward options.

A new patient can expect honesty and genuine care from the start. When you arrive, we bring you back to the operatory and simply ask you to tell your story. Most people have a dental history that involves past treatments, fears, and frustrations, so I listen first to understand where you’re coming from.

After that, we take a scan if it’s needed, which it usually is. Then we sit down together in front of the image so you can actually see what’s going on in your mouth. We look at the quality and quantity of bone, review the findings, and use models to help you visualize your options.

From there, we build a plan collaboratively. I factor in your goals, your concerns, and your budget. I lay out clear choices so you understand exactly what each option involves.

When we put the treatment plan together, we use a straightforward, comprehensive price so you know the full cost without surprises. Everything is on a simple one-page sheet. We also review financing options to make care as accessible as possible.

Overall, the first visit is a listening session followed by an honest discussion of your options. You tell us where you want to go, and we help you map out the best path to get there.

How an Implant Dentist Strengthens Your Tooth Replacement Plan

The term “implant dentist” is one people hear, but what does it truly mean in oral care? Across different fields, some professionals focus on a single essential area. A cardiologist tracks the heart’s rhythm and circulation with a practiced eye, noticing details most of us would miss. An arborist reads the health of a tree through its bark, branches, [...]

Teeth Whitening and Tooth Replacement: Bringing Balance to Your New Smile

Teeth whitening is usually viewed as a cosmetic touch-up, but it has a much broader reach in dentistry. You do not need a full set of natural teeth to benefit from a brighter shade, and it is not limited to those seeking small refinements. We often incorporate whitening into broader treatment plans such as full-mouth reconstruction or smile makeovers [...]

How Custom Mouthguards Protect Your Teeth

Many people have small, unconscious habits that show up only while they sleep. Talking is a common example. Some people mumble, others carry on full conversations without any awareness of it. These behaviors rarely register because the person experiencing them is not awake to notice. Unless someone points it out. Other nighttime habits are less subtle because they leave [...]

Dental Implant Financing 101: What To Expect From the Process

Many people are surprised to learn that mini dental implants often cost about half as much as traditional implants. The implants themselves are smaller, the placement process is more efficient, and the overall procedure usually requires fewer steps. That efficiency lowers the total cost. Still, a lower price does not magically turn a dental decision into pocket change. Even [...]

How Full Arch Dental Implants Improve Stability and Function

We often hear a familiar question in everyday life when something starts to feel harder than it should. Are you ready for an upgrade? It comes up with vehicles, phones, and appliances that require workarounds until one day it becomes clear how much effort you have been spending just to make them function. Many people do not recognize those [...]
