How Long Does Full-Mouth Reconstruction Take?
In this video, Remi Berube, DD, explains how full-mouth reconstruction timelines can vary and what influences how quickly different treatment paths can move forward.
When you’re planning full-mouth reconstruction, the timeline depends on the type of treatment you choose and the condition of your bone and teeth.
The most streamlined approach is to remove your remaining natural teeth and place immediate dentures the same day. This lets you leave the office with teeth in place right after extractions.
If you later decide you want a fixed denture, we can move forward with implants and create dentures that snap on and off those implants. In certain cases, this can also be done the same day, but it depends on factors like your bone levels, how many teeth need to be removed, and the specifics of your case.
Your individual situation determines the exact timing, but we can review all of this with you during your consultation.
